What is SonderMind?

SonderMind is a secure mental health platform we use to manage scheduling, intake forms, insurance verification, billing, and the client portal.

How do I access the client portal?

Once your appointment is scheduled, you will receive an email from SonderMind with instructions to create your secure client portal account.

Through the portal, you can:

  • Complete intake and consent forms

  • View upcoming appointments

  • Access session links for teletherapy

  • Manage billing and insurance information

  • Communicate securely with your provider

Is the SonderMind portal secure?

Yes. SonderMind uses HIPAA-compliant systems designed to protect your privacy and personal information.

Payment and Insurance

What payment options do you accept?

We offer multiple payment options to support accessibility, including:

What is your self-pay rate?

The self-pay rate is $150 per session.

Sessions and Format

Do you offer teletherapy?

Yes. We provide teletherapy and virtual counseling sessions through a secure video platform. Teletherapy allows you to attend sessions from the comfort of your home or another private location.

Do you offer in-person sessions?

Yes. In-person sessions are available at our office location. Availability may vary based on scheduling and provider capacity.

How long are therapy sessions?

Standard therapy sessions are typically 60 minutes unless otherwise discussed during intake.

Communication and Policies

Does contacting you through the website create a therapist-client relationship?

No. Submitting a form or sending an email through the website does not establish a therapeutic relationship. A therapist-client relationship begins only after intake paperwork is completed and services are formally agreed upon.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule?

Cancellation and rescheduling policies will be provided during intake and are managed through the SonderMind portal.
